This week has been another crazy one for me including a 30-hours long journey, that should take about eight, among others.
It also has been a pretty philosophical one filled with studies on our memory and arguments on the future (and present) of photography. Here are the articles you should look at:
- Point-and-Shoot Memories – The Influence of Taking Photos on Memory for a Museum Tour – Taking photos makes us less alert. Put that camera down and scan with those eyes of yours. It’s worth it.
- The death of photography: are camera phones destroying an artform? – The discussion is back: is the “mass democratisation” of photography good or bad? Still no agreement…
- How photographing events stops us living them – Again, put the camera down and enjoy the moment. Less is more, also when it comes to pictures.
